Margaret Burcham, the commanding general of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, places a scale model of a concrete pile into a ceremonial stand marking the completion of the Wolf Creek Dam remediation project in Russell Springs, Ky., April 19, 2013. The multipurpose dam on the Cumberland River in Russell County, Ky., was at high risk for failure before its foundations were reinforced with the load carrying and load transferring beams.
