Summary

Description Batterie de 120 longs en pleine action, en Champagne (from the book). Note that the guns are almost certainly the 155 L type because of the shape of the rear section of the tube, which bulges earlier on the 155 and then it is smooth. French and other journalists commonly confused the two types, to the point that some 155 L gunners started to write the type in chalk on their guns before being photographed. (The gunners here being in action, couldn't afford that even if they wanted to.)
