Summary

This specimen was created with the TrueType release of the New York font (version 3.0). The TrueType font was created by Kris Holmes and Charles Bigelow, based on Susan Kare's original bitmap designs. This specimen is an SVG remake based on a previous PNG specimen by Jim Hood (uploaded by GearedBull, released under CC BY-SA 2.5).

Licensing

The depicted text is ineligible for copyright and therefore in the public domain because it is not a “literary work” or other protected type in sense of the local copyright law.
