Summary edit

This image of the New York - New Jersey - Pennsylvania tripoint marker was taken by me, Karen L. Houle, and I release it into the public domain. the 1882 tri states rock at port jervis is widely but erroneously believed to mark the njnypa tristate point yet the njpa state line runs in the middle of the delaware river by interstate compact & could never have reached the left bank of the river here nor anywhere else notwithstanding the apparent monumentation which was actually installed unilaterally & incorrectly by new york state
