Myiagra ruficollis:
Mangroves by the site of the Old Jetty (no longer there),
Mangrove Point,
Town Beach,
Broome,
Kimberley,
Western Australia.
I can now confirm on very good authority that this is indeed a Broad-billed Flycatcher.
Diagnostics include : a broad bill (as shown here and following shots); rictal bristles around base of beak are longer in BB Flycatcher than Leaden FC. ; stepping of tailfeathers at the bottom of the tail when viewed from the front which this photo shows.
