Encontra-se na Rotunda de Santa Teresa de Ourém (Rotunda Sul) e é da autoria de Fernando Marques e Francisco Marques, respectivamente, pai e filho, sendo o primeiro autor da escultura e o segundo, arquitecto da obra. Os Pastorinhos são representados caminhando (...) sobre uma base sinuosa, associada ao caminho e ao sentido percorrido a partir de suas casas, não só no seu trajecto físico para o local do pastoreio e, consequentemente, para o local das aparições, mas também no trajecto espiritual para a imortalidade, numa ascensão infinita. O elemento vertical, no topo, simboliza o eixo de condução entre a terra e o céu, orientado o olhar para o alto. As imagens são em pedra e o elemento vertical, em aço inox. A inclusão de água, num dos lados, tem a ver com o facto de, em tempos, aí existir a Lagoa da Carreira.

O monumento, iniciativa da Associação Fátima Cultural, foi inaugurado a 10 de Junho de 1997 por D. Serafim de Sousa Ferreira e Silva, que o benzeu. <a href="http://www.santuario-fatima.pt/portal/index.php?id=43335" rel="nofollow">www.santuario-fatima.pt/portal/index.php?id=43335</a>

It is also required to identify name of the author, with no exceptions ("wherever possible", as per §76(a)).
