English: Mobile County Public School JROTC Distinctive Unit Insignia
  • Description:
  1. A gold color metal and enamel insignia 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height overall, consisting of a shield divided vertically into three equal stripes blue, white and red enamel; in the horizontal center of the shield a black enamel battleship.
  2. Overall a gold Torch of Knowledge enflamed vertically centered on the white stripe surmounting the entwined stems of two arced laurel branches, one arced over the blue and one arced over the red.
  3. Attached below the shield a gold arced scroll inscribed “MOBILE COUNTY” in black enamel letters.
  • Background: The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 7 June 1976.
