English: Bookplate. Arms. — Carson of Shanroe, co. Monaghan, Ireland. The Rev. Thomas W. Carson, M.A., of Beaumont, Terenure, co. Dublin, was born 20 Dec. 1834, and is the eldest son of the late Right Rev. Thomas Carson, LL.D., Lord Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin, and Ardagh. Mr. Carson is also co-representative, with his cousin Nicholas Dunscombe of King William's Town, co. Cork, Esq., J.P., of the elder branch of the family of Waggett of Cork. The Plate was designed by John Leighton, Esq., F.S.
