Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve
Frances Ethel BRACE, Staff Nurse, died of Maleria in Malta 21st September 1916. She was the daughter of William and Jane who in 1901 were all living at Great Honey Borough, Neyland, Pembrokeshire and she was stated as being a farmers daughter. In 1911 she was working as a visiting Mr and Mrs Codd at Sundon Villa Slade, Pembroke. She is at rest in Pieta Military cemetery, Northern Harbour, Malta
Jane ROBERTS, Drowned on the 10th April 1917. She was on board Hospital Ship "Salta when she hit a mine laid by U-Boat UC-26 just outside Harve and sunk. She was not carrying any patience but, nine nursing sisters and thirtyseven ranks of the RAMC were lost. She is commemorated on the "Salta Memorial", Ste. Marie Cemetery, Le Havre, Seine-Maritime, France
Margaret Dorothy ROBERTS, Staff Nurse R/853, Drowned 31st December 1917 on H.M.S. Osmanieh. The ship was sunk by a mine laid by U-Boat, U-34, on her way to Alexandra carrying troops and medical staff. She is buried at Hadra War Memorial Cemetery, Alexandra, Egypt

Margaret Evans THOMAS, Staff Nurse, 1st London General Hospital, died 8th November 1918 aged 28. She is Commemorated on the United Kingdom 1914-1918 Memorial, Brookwood, Surrey.
This casualty has recently been accepted for commemoration by the Commission. However, it will not be possible to add her name to this Memorial immediately. Please contact the Commission before planning a visit, for more information.
Helena May ROWLANDS, Assistant Nurse died 10th May 1919 aged 26. She was the daughter of Rowland who died in 1908 and Ann Ellin Rowlands of Bod Gwynant, Abergele, Denbighshire In 1911 she was living with her widowed mother and siblings at Gele Avenue, Abergele, Denbighshire. She is at rest in Abergele Cemetery, Denbighshire
