English: Grey: No data; likely over-the-counter if the country is not developed, otherwise likely banned. Light blue: over-the-counter with limited restrictions. Blue: Prescription-only, with fairly limited restrictions on its use. Orange: Prescription-only, with extensive restrictions on its use. Red: complete ban. Oops! Forgot to colour everything in.
(Description is not 100% correct, because in Russia it is sold over-the-counter without any restrictions. Spain too. Brazil too. Also in India the ban was lifted later in 2014. In Canada it's on the other hand it's banned for humans, authorized for veterinary use only) |
