English: Canadian army Cpl. Joe Hem fires a C-6 Flexible machine gun retrofitted with the Battle Field Identification Device during a live-fire demonstration on an instrumented range at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., June 22, 2008. The live-fire is part of U.S. Joint forces Command’s Bold Quest Plus exercise and designed to test, in field conditions, the updates and upgrades in the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) used by coalition and U.S. forces to improve combat identification, if successful, it can be fielded almost immediately.
