Marsworth Reservoir was opened in 1806 to provide water for the Grand Junction Canal (now the Grand Union Canal).
All the reservoir is in SP9213. Most of the reservoir is in Hertfordshire, but a small area nearest to the canal is in Buckinghamshire.
