Summary

Description The grave of Marion Cook at the Bone Valley Cemetery near Hazel Creek, located in the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. In the U.S. Civil War, the Tennessee side of the Smokies was mostly pro-Union, whereas the North Carolina side supported the Confederacy. There are six Confederate veterans buried at the Bone Valley Cemetery.
