Summary

Description

Just after takeoff from the main runway at Malta's Luqa airport (top of picture) our Airbus turns over the former Hal Far WW2 airfield.

The site is now a Drag Strip and Business park. Nearby are 150 foot (46 metres) cliffs.

At the top of the picture (right) beyond the Luqa runway, can just be seen the capital city of Valletta.
