English: Single-stage centrifugal compressor with the following components: inlet, impeller housing with surge protection opening, open impeller with full and partial blades, radial diffuser and volute casing. This stage illustrates the clockwise rotation when looking downstream from the inlet.
Deutsch: Einstufiger Radialverdichter mit folgenden Komponenten: Eintritt, Laufradgehäuse mit Schwallschutzöffnung, offenes Laufrad mit Voll- und Teilschaufeln, Radialdiffusor und Spiralgehäuse. Diese Stufe veranschaulicht die Drehung im Uhrzeigersinn, wenn man vom Einlass stromabwärts schaut.
