Summary

Description
English: Convent of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo (Zusters Onder de Bogen) in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Interior of a museum room in the former provostry of Saint Servatius. In 1845 this building became the convent of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo and in 1864 this is where the congregation's foundress, Elisabeth Gruyters, died. The objects in these rooms are connected to Mother Elisabeth and the history of the congregation. This is a painting of her.
