  • Handwritten on verso: Lt. T. W. Chandler had a minie ball in his brain for 6 weeks and 2 days, it was extracted by Dr. J. G. Johnson, 69 Henry St., Brooklyn, and he is now well. Thos. W. Chandler, 2nd Lt. A Co. 65th Rgt., N.Y.S. Vols., late 1st Long Island Vols.
