Summary

Description
English: Breached dam of Llyn Eigiau The former reservoir of Llyn Eigiau with the Cefn Tal Llyn Eigiau ridge behind. The water from the breach left quite a deep trench in the surrounding grassland. The incident has been reported as having occurred in 1925, but the 1940s map shows the lake still in its full glory. The western third of the square is within the dam, but it is the same sort of moorland on both sides now.
