DescriptionLincoln in Union Square I (4471579881).jpg
This statue was cast in 1868, just three years after Lincoln's murder. In its original location, at the southwest corner of Union Square where the Gandhi statue is today, it directly overlooked the path of Lincoln's funeral procession.
