THIS IS NOT A 1972 MODEL, nor a 1975.
It is a 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Car. The 1975 model, which appears virtually identical, and early 1976 models, are distinguished by white paint lines in the bumper rubbers front and rear. This appears then to be a later 1976 model.
1975s came loaded with accessories that became optional in 1976 and thereafter, so that is another way of distinguishing between 1975 and 1976.
