Additional Notes

I have found a journal entry describing the events on the day of the translation of Mr. Geronimo's remains courtesy of local historian Sumaquel P. Hosalla:

BALIK-BAYAN OF THE UNSUNG HERO

After several years on February 20, 1993 at 7:00 A.M. thru the energetic and combined effort of the Knights of Colombus, Montalban Council No. 9595, Marikina Valley Assembly ACN 1827, The Municipal Government of Rodriguez (Montalban) Rizal, The National Historical Institute, The Kaanak ng mga Bayani, 1896, Inc. and The Pugad Lawin Phil. Inc., the remains of our great unsung hero, General Licerio Geronimo, was again removed from Mausoleo delos Veteranos and was transferred to finally and permanently [rest] in his native town of Montalban, Rizal and to his honor, a monument serving his permanent resting place was constructed and erected at the Montalban Town Plaza, now Rodriguez Auditorium, with the participation of the Faculty and Students of all the Private and Public Schools within the Municipality.

Today, this monument stood in the heart of this once historic town to serve as a mute witness to [the] bravery, gallantry, [and] patriotism of this great and [battle-scarred] Filipino.
