English: Liverpool - Cardiff express passing Leominster.
View northward, towards Shrewsbury and the North. THe 15.00 Liverpool Lime Street - Cardiff express has come via Crewe and Shrewsbury, the WR locomotive took over to continue to Cardiff, via Hereford and Newport. Ex-GW Collett 'Castle' 4-6-0 No. 5089 'Westminster Abbey' was built 10/39 from the remains of 'Star' No. 4069 and lasted until 11/64. Branch trains to Kington and Presteigne are still running - for a few more months - from the bay on the Up side, and from one other end of the Down side to Bromyard and Worcester.
