Ce petit pavillon en bois, aux couleurs de la Finlande, a été conçu par le grand architecte-designer finlandais Alvar Aalto en 1955-1956. Il devait être utilisé temporairement par la Finlande en attendant la construction du pavillon des pays nordiques mais il est resté ouvert depuis cette date car il est devenu un symbole. Il vient d'être restauré à la suite de la chute d'un arbre durant un violent orage de la fin 2011 qui avait endommagé le toit. |
