English: De Smet School, the first school built in De Smet, Dakota Territory and attended by Laura Ingalls Wilder and her younger sister, Carrie Ingalls (Swanzey). The school has been restored and relocated to the grounds of the Laura Ingalls Wilder Memorial Society museum and historic buildings.
