"USGS Hurricane Katrina. Photo taken in Lakeview, it is inexplicable, except that the surreal is commonplace in New Orleans. November 26, 2005."

Comments: Presumably the homeowner had a decorative suit of armor, and when returning to the house looking for salvagable possessions positioned it at the broken window. It may have been a bit of grim humor, or to discourage looters by placing a figure in the window in a neighborhood still dark at night, or some of both. -- Infrogmation (talk)
