Su superficie aproximada es de 600-800 km², aunque puede llegar a alcanzar los 1.040 km², y de él se extraen sales de cloro, sodio y magnesio. English: Lake Natron is a salt lake located in northern Tanzania, close to the Kenyan border, in the eastern branch of the East African Rift.
