Original file(856 × 610 pixels, file size: 279 KB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Description Laboratory and Supervisors Office Acid Area, West Virginia Ordnance Works, near Point Pleasant, WV. The large building is the Acid Area B (South) Laboratory and Supervisor's office 706Q. The smaller building to the left of it is the change house 707 T-2. All workers had to change into government clothes at the start of the shift and then shower and change into their street clothes before going home. The smoke in the background center was probably a coal-burning tug going up the Ohio River. In those days, old sternwheeler coal burning tugs were not out of the norm. -DLR-
