Summary

Description
English: The above images showcase three different types of cells going through the cell cycle. The three categories of cells are labile cells, stable cells, and permanent cells. Labile cells multiply continuously, and are found in bone marrow, various tissues, skin, and in the linings of most hollow organs in the body. Stable cells only multiply when needed or if another cell is destroyed or damaged, and are found in the liver and many other glands. Lastly, permanent cells, such as brain cells, neurons and skeletal and heart muscles, they are unable to proliferate or regenerate. All of these cells work throughout the body and carry out a variety of functions.
