Détail de l’œuvre murale de l'artiste brésilien Paulo Nimer Pjota sur la façade coté Saône de la Sucrière

Cette installation composée de collages s'inscrit dans la tradition du Street Art et des Favelas, elle couvre la totalité du mur extérieur.

Certaines peintures de l'artiste exposées au musée d'art moderne ont été reconfigurées pour interagir sur les murs et créer une narration à plusieurs entrées, répondant ainsi au thème de la Biennale 2013.

La Sucrière est un centre d'accueil de grands évènements dont la Biennale d'art contemporain Espace d'exposition et de manifestation (9.000 m2) Architecte : Z Architecture

la Sucrière est un ancien entrepôt des années 1930, qui a été réhabilité en 2011, elle accueille depuis 2003 la biennale d'art contemporain et des expositions temporaires.
