English: Kirk Square with telephone kiosk. The building, the Old Church of Arbroath is Category B listed (ref 21151 applies). The church, often referred to as Arbroath Parish Church, was the site for the funerals of the lifeboatmen lost in the 1953 Arbroath lifeboat disaster. The telephone kiosk, a Royal Mail/GPO K6 design is separately listed, again at Category B (ref 21258 applies) and is one of the few remaining red telephone boxes within the Arbroath area.
