Καθε 4-5 χρονια, οταν οι μεγαλες ποσοτητες νερού συσσωρευτηκαν η μπλοκαριστηκαν, υπηρχε κατακρατηση νερού. Οταν η ποσοτητα του νερού, ηταν πολυ μεγαλη, διμιουργηθηκαν λιμνες. English: One of 3 Ponors in the southern part of the polje Feneos, Corinthia, Peloponnese. When precipitation of winters is exceptionally rich, parts of the polje become flooded even nowadays; until the second half of the 19th century there was even an almost permanent lake. Marks of the watertable at the bottom of the slopes are still visible. Construction of a system of draining ditches reduced floods. |
