ON THE NPS NOMINATING FORM IT IS LISTED AS THE WILDS-PRETTYMAN HOUSE BUT ON THE HOUSE IT IS LISTED AS THE BAILEY HOUSE. IN BOTH CASES THE DATE OF CONSTRUCTION IS CIRCA 1780 AND THE NPS DESCRIPTION IS ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL TO THE HOUSE PICTURED. ROUTE 42 IS ALSO COMMERCE STREET ON WHICH THE DISTRICT IS MAINLY LOCATED
