English: Portrait of Poedooa, the 19-year-old daughter of Orio, chief of the Haamanino district of Raiatea (Ulietea), one of the Society Islands neighbouring Tahiti. One of the earliest images of a Polynesian woman produced by a European painter.
Français : Portrait en pied de Poedooa, alors agée de 19 ans, la fille d'Orio, chef du district d'Haamanino, sur l'île de Raiatea (Ulietea), dans l'archipel des Îles de la Société. Ce tableau est l'une des premières représentation de femme polynésienne faites par des peintres occidentaux.
