Description A Japanese Aichi D3A dive bomber, believed to be piloted by Yoshihiro Iida, burns as it is shot down by anti-aircraft fire directly over the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV-6) during the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, 24 August 1942.
