Summary

Description
English: Caption text says "Jack Harris, star half back on Wisconsin's grid machine, was elected captain of the 1924 aggregation following the Chicago-Wisconsin battle at Stagg field yesterday. Throughout the present season, Harris, who has one more year of football competition at Wisconsin, has been a bright light on the Badger eleven, his reliability when short yardage was badly needed having made him an important cog in Coach Jack Ryan's offensive tactics. Harris succeeds Marty Below in the captaincy, Below, a tackle, being scheduled to graduate next spring."
