DescriptionJONATHAN OR JOHN HAINES HOUSE, BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J..jpg
English: JOHN (OR JONATHAN) HAINES HOUSE ON FOSTERTOWN ROAD; THE OLDEST HOUSE IN MEDFORD ON LAND PATENTED TO THE BUILDER’S FATHER IN 1682.. THE WEST SECTION WAS BUILT CIRCA 1690. LIVED IN BY HAINES FAMILY UNTIL 1919
THERE IS ANOTHER HOUSE LISTED UNDER THIS SAME NUMBER AS THE JONATHAN HAINES HOUSE BUT HOUSE IS ON UNION STREET. I PUT THAT PICTURE IN AND IT IS THE WRONG JONATHAN HAINES HOUSE. BOTH HOUSES HAVE NEW JERSEY STATE HISTORICAL MARKERS IN FRONT OF THEM AND BOTH OF THEM ARE WORTHY OF INCLUSION ON WIKIPEDIA. I DON;T KNOW IF THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME PERSON OR FATHER-SON BUT THERE ARE LARGE NUMBER OF HAINES' IN THBE MEDFORD AREA AND IN BURLINGTON COUNTY. I CAN SEND THE STATE HISTORICAL MARKER FOR BOTH HOUSES IF YOU WISH.
