Persian Warrior, found during the building of Palazzo Medici, today Palazzo Madama in Rome. A copy from the time of Hadrian of an original that formed part of four large groups of warriors that were given by King Attalus around 160-150 AD. Placed in Athens on Acropolis and in Pergamon, they commemorated Greek victories over their enemies.
