English: Interior of Bridport Town Hall The ornate display at the end of the hall and on the adjacent walls contain all the names and dates of the past Mayors of the town. To the right of the photographer, suspended from a bracket, is the ships bell belonging to HMS Bridport. She was a Bangor class minesweeper, built at Dumbarton in 1940 and broken up at Plymouth in 1959.
