Description
Español: Iglesia construida en el siglo XVI y ubicada a un costado de la plaza, siendo una de la Iglesas más grandes de la Región de Antofagasta, con un estilo andino hecha completamente de Adobe. Además está rodeada por un cerco de este mismo material, levantado en 1978. El envigado es de tablas de algarrobo, amarradas con cintas de cuero, y la techumbre de tablillas de cactus cubiertas con barro y paja. Los muros actuales datan de 1774, a pesar de haber sido reparada entre 1839 y 1843, luego de un incendio. La torre de adobe fue agregada en 1964 en reemplazo a una más antigua construida en madera.
