Summary

Description

Another two-colour chunk of a spiral galaxy, this one seen a bit wider. This is definitely not the most sightly dataset, but I thought the compact roundness of this galaxy was pretty interesting. From our vantage point, it looks like we're viewing this one almost directly face-on. It's irritatingly close to being fully captured here.

The exposure time for this one was pretty inadequate, hence the large amounts of noise.

These data come from proposal 9042: An archive to detect the progenitors of massive, core-collapse supernovae.
