Summary
| Description |
National Gangkou Sea Turtle Reserve (E114 °52ˊ50"~114°54ˊ33", N22°33ˊ15"~22°33ˊ20") lies in Huidong County, Guangdong Province, between Da Ya Wan bay and Hong Hai Wan bay, about 200km of Guangzhou and 100km of Hongkong. The whole area of the reserve is 18 km2, including the nest beach and the adjacent waters. The nest beach is about 1km long, on the east of a stubby peninsula. The average annual precipitation measure 1402 to 2085 mm, the temperature is about 8℃ to 32℃ whole year. It is the main nest site in Mainland China.
