Explanation of Public Domain status:
Looking at this image from 1913-1914 and sources in the article on the building, the hotel was originally built with these balconies. Looking at this image from April 1922, the balconies have been replaced with a veranda, thus the drawing dates from before 1922. Since it states that it was published for a jeweler who lived in the Hancock area (Hauglie, 2011), it almost surely was published before 1922 in the United States.

Alternatively, (Hauglie, 2011) states that Otto Boressen, the jeweler for whom this drawing was published, died in 1939. To be published on his behalf is only sensible during his lifetime. Since no copyright notice accompanies it, it for sure qualifies for published 1923-63 without notice and possibly again pre1923.
