DescriptionHole station site geograph-3682478-by-Ben-Brooksbank.jpg
English: Site of Hole station.
View westward, towards Halwill Junction: ex-SR Torrington - Halwill Junction (North Devon & Cornwall Junction Light Railway) branch. This line had a very short life, having been built only in July 1925 and was closed 1/3/65. Over the trees is the roof of the former goods shed (now part of a neighboring farm). Hidden behind the trees is the former station building. It was derelict for many years (part of the Hole Farm estate) until converted into a private home in the late 1990's.
