Afrikaans: Na my beskeie mening is die Vallei van die Gode 'n versteekte Amerikaanse juweel; dit was my tweede besoek aan die park en hierdie keer het ek slegs een ander motor op die 17 myl rit gesien. Dis nie te ver van Monumentvallei nie, maar kry baie min erkenning. Om deur die park te toer is maklik – jy ry op 'n heel skaflike grondpad en sien van die wonderlikste natuurskoon in die Amerikaanse Suidweste. Ek was gelukkig om die park op 'n heerlike middag in November 2012 te ervaar.
English: In my humble opinion, Valley of the Gods is a hidden American gem; this was my 2nd visit to the park and this time I saw one other car during the 17 mile drive. Valley of the Gods is not too far from Monument Valley but it gets very little recognition. Touring the park is easy – you go on a fairly decent dirt road and see some of the most amazing scenery in the American Southwest. I lucked out and hit the park on a gorgeous afternoon in November 2012. |
