The Harley Clarke Mansion in the Northeast Evanston Historic District (1927). Clarke was president of the Utilities Power & Light Corporation. He had the Wilbur D. Nesbit House moved so that he could build his house. The city is currently seeking bids for purchase. The Pritzker family is one party that has expressed interest. It was the national headquarters of Sigma Chi from 1951-1965. It was the home of the Evanston Art Center, but they recently announced plans to move closer to the downtown area of Evanston.
