Description

Photograph of British battlecruiser HMS Tiger in drydock. This appears to be after the Battle of Jutland (31 May 1916) and before her mainmast was moved from the original location directly behind the bridge, as seen here, to ahead of the third funnel in 1918. Other similar photographs point to this being Tiger at Rosyth during her refit 1916-1917.

NOTE : The Canadian Navy Heritage website incorrectly identifies this as "A member of the King George Class of RN Battleships in the Halifax drydock".
