English: The High Street Barber Shop, across the road from Greymouth High School, 112 High Street, Greymouth, New Zealand. The shop and adjoining house was originally Mrs McGurk's bakery and cake shop, and Claude Henry moved his premises there in 1952 from a barbershop further up High Street. Murray Glen began working there after school at the age of 12, became an apprentice in 1963, and took over on 1 October 1967. He ran the business for 50 years, eventually buying the shop and house from Mrs McGurk. Yvonne Thompson began working at the shop in 1992, and took over from Glen when he retired.
