Summary

Description Looking northwest from a clearing just off the summit of Mount Guyot in the Great Smoky Mountains. Sevier County, Tennessee is below. The dead trees are fraser firs, killed by the balsam wooly adelgid invasion. This view is from atop a Fraser fir blowdown which had fallen atop another Fraser fir blowdown.
