Summary

Description The Greenock Cut is a 7 mile (11 km) aqueduct completed in 1827 which carried water from a new reservoir formed at Loch Thom from its outlet at Cormalees Bridge Centre round the side of Dunrod Hill to Overton, Greenock|Overton where it was fed into a distribution network to supply the town of Greenock in Scotland, now in the District of Inverclyde.
