English: Gold Medal of Government House Halifax, an award given out by the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia. Established in 2013. Awarded for service of a rare and exceptionally high standard, which accrues great benefit to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor and or the Province of Nova Scotia as a whole. Both residents of Nova Scotia and non-residents, including foreign citizens, are eligible for this award. The medal may be conferred upon any individual or group, with a maximum of two medals per year. The medal is engraved on the reverse with the name of the recipient and the year of the award, and is accompanied by a certificate signed by the Lieutenant Governor and sealed with the Privy Seal.
